No, no, no… If you haven’t yet, go report creepshots - they have a blog dedicated to pictures of girls who aren’t aware their picture is being taken!! It’s horrible and I think (and hope) illegal to photograph somebody without their permission. In addition to just horrible violation of these people when taking their picture, a lot of the posts have captions like this - encouraging rape culture. Basically saying, she’s asking for it, it’s cool if we rape her just because of how she looks and what skirt she wore. If I were this girl, I don’t know how I would feel. 

Also, it says in their “about us” page, if you find your picture on their blog, you have too choices: 1) accept it and be thankful somebody thinks youre sexy enough to post on there or 2) ask them to take it down, and if they think it’s legit they MIGHT take it down.

Let’s talk about the problems with each of these statements. One - nobody is flattered that people think we’re “sexy” enough to take creepy pictures and post them online without our permission. That’s harassment. That’s horrible. NOBODY is going to think that. If I found out you did this in real life, I’d probably feel threatened and maybe get a bit violent. It’s not okay, no matter what, you’re objectifying these poor girls and it’s a horrible thing to do. Nobody is going to appreciate it, they’re just gonna think you’re a douchebag.

As for the second statement, they have to feel like your request is “legitimate.” Oh yeah, because if I see my picture posted online against my will any requests to take it down are gonna be jokes. Sure. Then, if they do feel like its legit, they’ll remove it. But only after reviewing it. And in that description, they make it seem like it’s your fault that there are assholes out there who will take your picture - “if you wore something sexy, tight, or revealing” - because yeah, doing that means I MUST want my picture taken by creepy men and posted online. 

Guess what, guys? Fuck off, and consider yourself blocked and reported.
